Tips for Safe Elevator Riding

When taking an elevator, it is important to ensure your safety by following these guidelines:

1. Before entering an elevator, check for the valid safety inspection certificate. Elevators that have exceeded their inspection date or have any malfunctions may pose a safety hazard.

2. Never blindly enter an elevator without confirming if the elevator car is properly aligned with your floor. Failure to do so may result in accidents where individuals fall into the elevator shaft.

3. While waiting for the elevator, avoid kicking, prying, leaning, or holding the doors open. In case of elevator overload, do not attempt to squeeze into the car or bring in additional items. If the elevator is full, patiently wait for the next one.

4. Do not use your hands, feet, or any objects to prevent the elevator doors from closing. If you need to keep the doors open, you can press and hold the open button inside the elevator car.

5. When the elevator is in operation, stand firmly and hold onto the handrail. Do not lean against the elevator doors. Avoid playing, jumping, or pressing buttons randomly inside the elevator.

6. If the elevator reaches your destination but the doors do not open, press the open button to open the elevator doors. Do not force the doors open as it may lead to accidents where individuals fall into the elevator shaft.

7. In the event of an elevator malfunction or being stuck between floors, stay calm. Utilize the emergency alarm button or the telephone inside the elevator to contact the property management department or maintenance company. Wait patiently for rescue and refrain from attempting to exit the elevator through any dangerous means.

8. It is strictly prohibited to bring flammable or explosive materials into the elevator. Elderly individuals and children must be accompanied by adults to prevent accidents.

By following these safety measures, you can ensure a safe and smooth elevator ride.
