For the elevator drive mainframe with the force required to lift the car equipped with rated load capacity greater than 400N by human operation, an emergency electric operation switch meeting the requirements should be set in its machine room. Also the following conditions shall be satisfied.
1. It shall be allowed to operate the emergency electric operation switch from inside the machine room, and the car operation shall be controlled by continuously pressing the button with protection against misoperation. The direction of operation shall be clearly marked.
2. After the emergency electric operation switch is operated, all operation of the car shall be prevented except for the control by this switch. Once the inspection operation is implemented, the emergency electric operation shall be disabled.
3. The emergency electric operation switch itself or through another electrical switch which meets the requirements shall disable the following electrical safety switches: safety clamp electrical switch, speed limiter electrical switch, car upward overspeed protection switch, limit switch, buffer electrical safety switch.
4. emergency electric operation switch and its operation button should be set in the place where the motor can be easily observed when using.
5. The running speed of the car under emergency electric operation control should not be greater than 0.63m/s.
