After the installation and commissioning of the elevator was completed, the Tanzanian customer tested the machine-room-less electric rescue device (electric release gate MRO), but was not clear about the operation steps and asked our technical staff. The technician sent the operation manual to the customer and explained the operation steps step by step to the customer and guided the customer to complete the operation.
The working principle of the machine-room-less electric rescue device is: under the normal condition of the elevator, the MRO device charges its own backup battery. When passengers are trapped in the car with elevator failure, the rescue personnel can operate the MRO operation button to supply power to the brake coil in an emergency, the brake will open, the elevator will run slowly to the nearest floor level position, and the rescue personnel will open the door to rescue the trapped passengers.
MRO operation method: 1: When the elevator is found to be malfunctioning and passengers are trapped in the car. Firstly, cut off the power supply of all control cabinets, press the “public” button, and the equipment operation indicator will flash to indicate that the equipment is powered.
2: When opening the brake operation, keep the “public” button pressed, then press the “start” button or “force” button, then the MRO will supply emergency power to the traction brake. The brake will open and the elevator will move, and the “Run” indicator will remain on during operation.
3：If the elevator is in the door position, the brake can only be turned on by using the “public+forced” button.
It should be noted that only when the door lock circuit (p6, p7) is on, the ROM device can output normally.
After explaining the operation steps to the customer, the customer successfully tested the operation and expressed great satisfaction and approval of our products and services.
